“A New Frontier “
America has turned a new page in history by electing the first African
American man as President of the United States and leader of the free
world. However, it will take a concerted effort from all of us, to turn
the corner in race relations.
I would like to offer the students of your School/University the opportunity to participate in this historical 90 minute panel discussion in “A New Frontier in Race Relations” at the Table of Humanity.
Beginning in February 2009 Race Relations Research, Inc. along other corporate sponsors, will begin a six stop tour in area public libraries, school campuses and churches in the Central Ohio area. This historical campaign will offer the public the opportunity to express their opinions and expertise in the area of race relations.
I will challenge participants to dialog on the subject of race that will move beyond color and culture. The human race has much more to offer at the Table of Humanity when we dialog on commitment and conviction through respect and honest communication in the area of race relations for humanity.
Students desiring to participate as panelist and presenters will dialog on the following topics:
• Race and Politics
• Race and Religion
• Race and History
• Race and the Criminal Justice System
• Race and Effective Communication
We believe through effective communication, this forum will encourage open, honest and respectful dialog and will offer real opportunities for better race relations in the world. Panelist participating in the forum may be video taped for research and promotional purposes. If you are interested in participating as a panelist and or register for the summit please click the Ohio Student Summit and down load the forms.
